Education, Credentials & Honors

Oddly enough, college was NOT my strong suit. I dropped out after a year and a half of studying journalism at Bowling Green State University. I went on to become an activities director in the healthcare industry for nearly 20 years.

Bragging Rights

In 2014, I quit my job to write full-time. The first two years were tough, barely making ends meet. Then, in January 2016, "An Ultimate Home Workout Plan Bundle" became a hit, and success flowed, opening new opportunities.

Professional & Literary Affiliation

I'm an active member and the Video Content Advisor for the Alliance of Independent Authors, a UK-based nonprofit organization run by indie authors for indie authors.

Author Questions

I write because it helps me express myself. Nothing gives me greater satisfaction than to entertain, inform, or help someone. While most people take days off to rest, I take days off to plan my next big writing project.
Mick Foley’s “Have a Nice Day” resonates universally. “The Dark Tower” sparked my love for Stephen King, and Wayne Dyer’s “You’ll See It When You Believe It” lifted me from a life plateau. Each is uniquely inspiring.
I write conversationally when doing nonfiction. With fiction, I tend to be a bit more descriptive and layout a detailed scene.
In 2013, my wellness coach suggested I write a fitness book. Self-fulfilling print runs was too costly and risky, so I decided to self-publish using Createspace. When people started buying it, I knew was on the right track.
Between 2014 and 2017, I published over 40 books in health and fitness. In 2020, I pivoted to publishing books about the writing and self-publishing business.
I currently have eight books for self-publishers waiting for edits and publishing in 2023.
Stephen King, Wayne Dyer, and Mick Foley
I’m a former pro wrestler, personal trainer, and activities director for senior living communities.
